Brace Face.....sorry I couldn't resist sweetie :) You know I love you.
Thought I would share with everyone what our pretty little girl was looking like lately. Check out the red and green bands. You know for Christmas:) And she said she is going to get pink bands for Valentine's Day. Apparently braces a cool now. Who would of seen that one coming. She is doing great now and not complaining about anything. She is doing a great job with brushing and flossing. Oh, she got braces for her bite, not crooked teeth. Just in case anyone was wondering. Anyway she looks cute as a button with her festive teeth.
My Christmas Present from Todd
This is my best Christmas present ever! This was a complete surprise and I didn't see this coming at all. Granted I thought everyone was acting a little strange because my cell phone had to ring at least ten times that day from Todd, Mom, and Dan all wanting to know what I was doing and when I was going to be home. I was thinking to myself they just need to chill out, I'm just getting my hair and nails done for Todd's office party ( I will post some pics of those later and yes we had a fantastic time) right here in Powder Springs. So after I was finished getting all fancy I called Todd to make sure he had the kids and he said he did but my Mom wanted me stop by so she could see my hair and that he was taking the kids to get some candy and that he would meet me at Mom's. Ok I thought......So here I am at Mom and Dan's and they were doing their normal things (looking back they were definitely trying to distract me from seeing out the front windows) and Todd comes in saying the boy will not get out of the car- yadda, yadda, yadda and that I needed to get him out. Not unusual behavior for Evan. So Todd told me to come this way, out the garage and there it was. A BRAND NEW HONDA PILOT WITH A BIG RED BOW!!!!!!! I was and still am speechless and shocked. I couldn't believe that he had pulled this off. I'm still in a bit of a daze. Every so often I look out in the garage to make sure I'm not dreaming. Thank you Todd for making another one of my long time wishes come true! Oh, And thanks for last night too :) I love you.

Trick or Treat
Our pretty little Princess had a great time trick or treating with her friend Emily. Her little feet were killing her by the end of the night. Like my Momma always said "it takes pain to be beautiful" :) Check out the pumpkins she designed. She created the design and Daddy did the carving. Not a bad team.
The Hokies and Falcons
Morgan and Evan had a great time up at Mimi Sue's and Grandaddy's on our last visit up to Bluefield. Me, Todd, Meghan, and AJ went to see the Hokies beat Clemson while the kids stayed with Bill and Sue. Todd and I had a great time going on all our dates at the Mountaineer Lanes and going out to dinner with Lisa and Brian. It took me an entire week to recover. I will say one thing for sure is that Gracie is the cutes little girl and just like her mother :)

The Hokies Win but......
I was a little nervous about this game while watching the first quarter but after realizing that the defense and the special teams came there to play I could breath a little easier. Needless to say I was not to impressed by Glennon at all but he did hand the ball off pretty well to Ore. I'm not one to talk to much crap about the players because they are just kids who are trying their best and I'm not out there playing nor have I ever played f-ball before but COME ON! I mean the first play out of the damn gate Whitaker throws down field for a touchdown! Glennon couldn't get that done all damn day. Needless to say I think Beamer needs to reevaluate their quarterback situation. Now I know I'm not a professional sports commentator but I'm just stating the obvious. I may change my opinion at later date but as of now I say put Whitaker in! Cause we all know Beamer reads my blog so I would expect this change soon:)

Safety Dance
Would you trust your child around moving vehicles with my daughter? Well if you go to Varner Elementary you have to :) Morgan was invited to join the Safety Patrol at her school this year. It was a tough decision because she had to decide if she wanted to be on the news team again or safety patrol. She opted to try something different this year. Oh, she just informed me that the she got a letter saying no can do on the news team and the safety patrol teacher said that she would like for her to do this and that she would like this better. All in all, Morgan is happy with her new responsibility and I just can't wait to wake up at the crack of dawn every single morning ;) Did I mention she has to be there at 7:10 in the morning? In all seriousness, we are very proud of our little girl and that her teachers think so highly of her. Way to go Morgan!!!

OMG
This was an outfit that Morgan and her best friend Ema have talked about wearing on the second day of school about all summer long. It became so famous that I had to take a picture! Oh, see the necklace she is wearing? Well her and Ema did not discuss that part of the outfit but they both wore the same necklace too! O M G! So I'm told:)
Evan's First Day of Pre-K!
Ok, well it was a little hard to get Evan to stand still but this was the best picture I could get. He was so excited getting to go to his new room. The room is bigger, has new toys, and he got a new teacher. He was happy just to say it was his first day of school too whenever Morgan would mention her day. He was going three days a week while he was in the early pre-k program but now he is going an entire week in the pre-k program. Oh, and the best thing is that we signed him up for the Tumble Bus. Basically it is a gym on wheels. He will go once a week and just another thing for us to spend money on. Real quick, the bus does not move. It stays in the parking lot. In case anyone was wondering. Keep your fingers crossed that he continues wanting to go to school. Lord help me......
Morgan's First Day of 5th Grade!
Can you believe our little baby girl is in 5th grade? Well I can't!!!! She was so excited and so nervous. Lord I can remember those days and I even had butterflies in my stomach too. It's a little sad thinking this was the last time she will ever have her first day of school in elementary :( Oh, and just a side note. It took us about 2 1/2 hours at Limited Too picking out this outfit. The time was well worth it. We had a lot of fun and damn she looks cute :)

It's only been two months......
I think I should be fired from the blog society since it has been so long since I last posted anything. I have no excuse. Well I have one. I actually forgot to take my camera to the beach so we had to buy one of those disposable ones when we got there. Then it took me forever to remember to drop off the film. Then it took me forever to remember to pick it up. So I guess that would be three good excuses right there :) Hope everyone enjoys the pics from our beach trip. We had a great time and already counting down till next year.

Happy Birthday Todd
I can't believe Todd and I would ever be celebrating one of our birthdays half a world apart from each other but here I am in Powder Springs, GA and he is Helsinki, Finland. I am believing more than ever now that getting old really sucks!
Happy 32nd Birthday sweetie. Be safe and have fun! I love you and miss you bunches.

Guess What?
Guess what the following is?
1. Academic Excellence Award (All A's all year long)
2. Outstanding Citizenship Award
3. Writing Fair winner (Varner 4th grade & Cobb County)
4. Science Fair winner
5. National Physical Fitness Award
6. Recognition as a member of the News Team (they've been doing TV broadcasts that are shown to the entire school during the mornings)
7. Recognition as a member of the Vocaliers (the school's choral group)
8. Recognition as a member of the Target program (gifted class)
These are all the awards Morgan won at the 4th grade awards ceremony. She racked up and won the most awards of any 4th grader. She did win another award that her teacher gave her for Being a Future Personal Shopper :) I do believe that is Morgan's favorite. We are so proud of her and all her hard work though the year. That's our pretty girl.

Yep, I live in Georgia
This is how Evan handles a two day garage sale. Our neighborhood had one on Saturday but it rained all morning but cleared up in the afternoon. If we know anything about garage sales your crowd comes in the morning. So Amber and I thought we would go ahead and extend it to Sunday. Believe it or not we actually did better on Sunday. I actually made about $200. Not bad for sitting in your garage for 2 days drinking bloody marys. Evan was a busy boy and worked really hard rearranging all the price tags on everything.
